Quality & compliance

The paperwork is part of the product.

A flameless candle is an electrical product sold into a regulated market. We treat the specification sheet, the inspection record and the conformity documents as part of what you are buying — because without them the goods cannot legally reach a shelf in the destination market.

Specification control

Every order starts with a written specification: dimensions, wax type and colour, LED behaviour, battery configuration, packaging and marking. That document is agreed before production and is what the goods are inspected against. It is also what protects you if a later batch drifts.

Inspection before dispatch

Goods are checked at the production site, before they are packed for export. The inspection covers what buyers actually complain about:

  • Wax colour consistency against the approved sample
  • Flame behaviour and LED brightness across a sample batch
  • Battery contact, switch function and timer accuracy
  • Packaging, labelling and carton marking
  • Quantity and assortment against the order

The inspection record travels with the shipping documents, so any deviation is visible before the container closes rather than after it arrives.

Documentation for the destination market

For each SKU we can supply the document set your market requires. Which documents apply depends on the product — a battery tea light and a scented wax candle with a rechargeable cell are not the same case.

  • EU Declaration of Conformity
  • Test reports from an accredited laboratory
  • Material and substance statements (REACH context)
  • Battery and waste-electrical information where applicable
  • Product marking and language requirements for your market

Tell us the country you sell into and the SKU you are considering, and we will send the current document pack for that combination rather than a generic folder.

Traceability

Each shipment is referenced to its specification sheet and inspection record. If a customer of yours reports a problem eighteen months later, we can identify which production run it came from.

What we ask of a new buyer

The market

Which country you sell into, and through which channel — hospitality, retail, wholesale or online. The documentation and the packaging language follow from this.

The reference

The candle you are replacing, or a photograph of it in use. A reference is faster than a description and removes most of the sampling rounds.

The volume

First order and expected annual volume. This determines the specification options we can offer and how the packaging is tooled.

Ask for the document pack.

Send us the SKU or the product photo and the country you sell into. We will reply with the documents that apply and any gap we would need to close before shipping.
